2014 NCAA March Madness Bracket

I know you've all been waiting for it, so here it is!  As I do every year, I go with an aggressive bracket!  Go big or go home!

A quick breakdown of the bracket, as I see it:

South Region
1st Round Upsets: Tulsa, Pitt

General Thoughts: Mostly chalk in this bracket with Syracuse beating KU to play Florida in the Elite Eight. I feel like Florida will cruise to the Sweet Sixteen, be challenged by VCU, and end up squeaking past Syracuse to the Final Four!

Final Four Rep: Florida

East Region
1st Round Upsets: George Washington, Providence,

General Thoughts: Virgina falls to Michigan State in the sweet sixteen.  Iowa State upsets Villanova to setup a 3 v 4 matchup to head to the Final Four.

Final Four Rep: Michigan State

West Region
1st Round Upsets: Oklahoma State, North Dakota State

General Thoughts: By far the easiest Region.  I'm all in on Marcus Smart and OK ST turning things around and redeeming themselves.  I have them upsetting Arizona in the second round.  I also have Oregon upsetting Wisconsin in the 2nd round as well.  Creighton cruises to the Elitle Eight to play OK ST.

Final Four Rep: Creighton

Midwest Region
1st Round Upsets: Kansas St., Tennessee(Beat Iowa!), Arizona St,

General Thoughts:  I'm sure you've read about how difficult this bracket is.  If you haven't:
*steps up on soapbox* this bracket is ridiculously tough and is proof that the big boys will do whatever it takes to keep a mid-major from excelling.  Wichita State goes 34-0 and their reward is potential matchups with All-Freshman super squad Kentucky, defending champs Louisville(rematch from last years Final Four), and Duke.  WHAT-A-JOKE! *steps off soapbox*
This region is most likely where I will lose my bracket pool as I went 100% with heart.  (ok, so Creighton was a little heart too, love you McDermotts!)   Chalk in the Sweet Sixteen with Wichita State and Duke winning.

Final Four Rep: Wichita State

Final Four:
Florida v Michigan State: Two great coaches who have built and maintained their programs.  Great matchup, set to be a classic game!  Winner: Michigan State

Wichita State v Creighton:  A match-up I've wanted to see all year!  Creighton left the Missouri Valley Conference and headed to the  Big East.  WSU, still in the MVC, went 34-0.  If only Creighton had stayed one more year!  Well, if I get my way, it's a Final Four game that legends are created in.  (At least in my head)   Winner:  Wichita State  (BOOOO Creighton, still love ya though McDermotts!)

Championship Game:  Wichita State vs Michigan State
Winner: Wichita State 71-65
